PARENT/GUARDIAN CODE OF CONDUCT
Parents and guardians play an important role in creating a positive environment for young athletes.
Parents/guardians must:
● Encourage and support their child without putting unnecessary pressure on them. ● Respect coaches, officials, volunteers, organisers and other participants.
● Avoid abusive, aggressive or threatening behaviour.
● Not interfere with selection, team allocation, auction or match decisions.
● Not enter restricted playing or team areas without permission.
● Allow coaches and officials to communicate with players during tournament activities.
● Raise concerns through the appropriate official channels.
● Avoid making negative or inappropriate comments about other players or teams.
● Support fair play and respectful competition.
Parents/guardians must never engage in physical or verbal confrontation with players, coaches, officials or other parents.
